Reflections

While driving home tonight, I began to reflect on the moon. HAha, get it?! Alright, either way, I find it so amazing that our God would create such a vast universe for us to "play" in, all because He loves us. In creating our wonderful home.. He gave us such a wonderful example, right there in our sky every night! Not only did He give us stars, that He made to twinkle in such an inspiring, fancy way... but the moon. The moon is exactly what we should aspire to be. The moon is lifeless... it has nothing but dust. Nothing to offer, but it's presence. It is always there, even when you can't see it. Since it has no life of it's own, it is so usable by the sun! The moon reflects but a fraction of the light from the sun... and it gives us the light when we would really need it... in our darkness of night. Now, Jesus, being the Son... is so perfect in His love, that we can only show a fraction of it with our imperfect, human beings. We know that life comes from...

Friends

Tonight, I had my eyes opened to one of my true riches in life. I was stressed all day, about things that are outside my illusion of control. Thank God, a meeting was planned for tonight, and despite my rolling emotions, I went. I have 3 of the best friends anyone could ask for. I was able to vent my little problems away, and they would just listen, or share a similar story. Just to know that I'm not alone, and that we'll survive, and that life can be good despite the speed bumps is so reassuring and liberating! Friends are SO underestimated in a married woman's life... even more so in a Mother's life. Friends are the ones who hold you up when you think you can't take another step, and they share your burden... even when they have their own to carry. Real friends know that you can share the deep, dark, embarrassing secrets of your past, and not be judged or looked down upon. Friends also keep you sane. Well, as sane as it gets. :) For my 3 team mates, I lov...

Welcome to our home!

Hello Everyone, I've mainly started a blog because I want to keep up with people, and I figure they would like to keep up with me. Though, I frequently feel like other people are moving faster than me... until I look at my girls and realize they aren't the babies I was holding just yesterday! Sad. Well, a quick catch up. Jon and I have been married for a little over 5.5 years, we have Adin who will be 5, Kera who will be 4, and Miya who just turned 2! We lived in Phoenix for about 4 years, and now live in Pahrump. I love it here, and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.... except for Cannon Beach, Oregon.. but only for vacation. I'm going to be an aunt to a nephew in November, and I couldn't be more excited about that! I hope he's named Benjamin. Well, I'll do my best to keep this up, and I hope I get lots and lots of readers!!! HA, not even. I just hope those who love me and my family get the info they desire out of my crazy rambling writings! Lov...
